Members of Die Junge Akademie meet for an open writing lab.

From 8 to 11 September 2025, another meeting of representatives of young academies will take place in Jerusalem.

In this internal workshop, members of Die Junge Akademie explore the material and affective practice of touching and being touched.

The RG Language organises a writing lab and combines this with a workshop programme on multilingualism and translation in science and art.

On 26 September 2025, members of Die Junge Akademie will meet with members of the Junge Akademie | Mainz, the Junge Akademie | HAdW, the Young Academy of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities and the Young Academy Fellows of the Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Hamburg.

This year's Academies' Day will take place in Heidelberg on 27 September 2025 – a joint event organised by the Academies Union and its eight member academies. Die Junge Akademie will also be participating in the programme.

Die Junge Akademie and the Israel Young Academy are organising a symposium on the future role of scientific research and academic cooperation in the 21st century. The event will take place in Berlin from 17 to 20 February 2025.

As part of the project ‘Infinity - Emptiness - Liveliness’, an exhibition will take place at the Planetarium in Hamburg from 25 January to 31 May 2025, presenting imaginations of boundlessness from an artistic, mathematical and physical perspective. The exhibition will open with a vernissage on 24 January 2025 from 7 pm.

Meeting format to promote interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary cooperation between young Israeli and German academics

Talking about art: For some artists, the linguistic construction of an artistic programme or an artistic position is an inherent part of their work. Others see it as a challenging communicative task to speak and write about their own art in professional contexts or in front of a critical audience. In addition to individual differences, there are also differences specific to art forms and media.

The aim of this interdisciplinary workshop organised by the Working Group Language is to shed light on the broad field of artistic communication.
