The film “I don’t want to set the world on fire” is having its world premiere at the Schaubühne Lindesfels in Leipzig. In this short film, environmental scientists and artists explore the emotional and social dimensions of the ecological crisis.
The film is based on a concept by Lea Luka Sikau and Senem Gökçe Oğultekin and creates a space for dialogue between art and environmental science. The film explores, from various perspectives, how the climate crisis, loss and uncertainty affect individual and collective experiences.
Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to reflect further on the film’s themes and engage in discussion.
