On the occasion of the launch of Max Planck Schools, the Max Planck Society and the German Rector’s Conference (HRK) are inviting all partner organisations involved with the Max Planck Schools, as well as political, economic and corporate representatives, to a symposium in the Harnack-Haus in Berlin. The symposium takes place on September 11th 2019 and aims to put members of the initiative, and especially the students themselves at the forefront of the event.

Programme
13:00: Discussion with three future students of Max Planck Schools and Dr. Helge Braun (Head of the Federal Chancellery)
Subsequently: Introduction to the research fields of individual Schools (parallel to the event)
17:30: Panel discussion on the “Future of Teaching”, moderated by Prof. Dr. Peter-André Alt (President of the HRK)

Philipp Kanske, speaker of Die Junge Akademie, will also take part in the panel discussion.
