Supported by the GIF (German-Israeli Foundation for Scientific Research and Development), the Israel Young Academy and Die Junge Akademie invite their members to apply for the interdisciplinary seminar AcadeMIX2023. The seminar combines a writing retreat with the opportunity to interact with Israeli and German researchers from a wide range of intellectual fields and disciplines.

Topics

AcadeMIX is a unique and innovative meeting format that aims to foster inter- and multidisciplinary collaboration between participating scholars. It offers space and time for a writing retreat accompanied by joint academic and social activities. The format offers an exciting intellectual experience and introduces participating researchers to a variety of research topics and research methods.

AcadeMIX2023 will take place on May 15-18 2023, at the Hotel Yehuda in Jerusalem, Israel. Participants will be required to take part in all meetings and events and be present for the duration of the conference.

Please submit you application (motivation letter, CV in English) to Timo de Wolff and Alexandra Heidle-Chhatwani (chair@diejungeakademie.de) by 15/01/2023. A committee with representatives from both academies will review all applications and select the final group of attendees.
