    We apply ourselves to topics of university and research policy: On behalf of the academy, members keep publishing theses and statements pertaining to science policy which are often broadly discussed. more

  • Structural Freedom

    Die Junge Akademie is free to choose its preferred forms of work and organisation – members make decisions together in their Plenums.

  • International Network

    In recent years, many academies for young academics have been founded, right up to the Global Young Academy. Die Junge Akademie maintains the exchange of information and is involved in cooperations. more


Installation | symposium: New Perspectives on Experienced Traumata

From 30.10. to 03.11.2019 musicologist Miriam Akkermann (TU Dresden) together with programmer and composer Andre Bartetzki will deal with the topic of trauma processing in children in an audio installation. The basis is a study by pschologist Eva Alisic (University of Melbourne). Psychologist Philipp Kanske (TU Dresden) is organizing a scientific symposium on the topic of trauma processing on 3 November 2019. Admission to both events is free. Interested parties are cordially welcome.
